Are there any WR jump animations this year?

I don't have the game yet (might get it for Xmas), but one of things that annoyed me in Madden 10 was the lack of WR jump animations. Having someone like Randy Moss (just an example) was useless because he never jumped for the ball. Even when I user catch with him he never jumped. It made factors like height useless because your receiver would never "outjump" his man. It also made jump-balls completely random; even if you had a 6'6 WR on a 5'9 db you were afraid of throwing a pick because he never jumped for the ball.

Have they put jump animations for receivers and db's back in the game this year or is it still the same?

Yup. There are indeed jumping catch animations.

Awesome thanks. Those and the sideline catches annoyed me the most in madden 10. Now all is well

You'll be glad to know sideline catch logic is much improved this year.

There is a very annoying jump animation where they jump when they don't even need to. They then get blasted in the back and drop the ball - it makes me very angry.

The WR/DB interaction is improved but I wish the WR's would be a bit more aggressive at times still.

I wanna see these kinda jump animations, where they fight for the ball. Not whoever jumps first is the only one who goes up for it:





it would make height and strength more important, and the jump/cit ratings so much better
