Re: Running Advice?

running overall this year is harder.. but you have to be patient I play with the skins and the first game I had 11yards on 19 carries with trung....but the second game went a little better he even busted a 25 yard gain.. but you have to keep at it and read your blocks...the defense on this game is much better on the whole

Oh yea, any advice for stopping the run? Candidate and Williams torched me for 200 yards a piece in my first 2 games.

have you tried Madden 101?

It's worthwhile, at it will really demonstrate whete the blockers are going, and how you should hit the hole. madden this year, it seems, is really rewarding the old maxim: "Patience to the hole, speed through the hole."

By letting the blocks set up, then attacking immediately, I'be had some very successful runs.

Your right, ive had to make myself WAIT for the hole to open, i had a 35 yrd run for a TD that way.

OH the stiff arm is great if done at the right time, also try to read the D before you snap. If there overloading the side your play is going, Audible and send the play the other way. Waiting for the blocks to set up is key.

In 2 games with green bay, Ahmahn Green has had 70 in the first game and 125 in the second (it was against the Lions so it was easier lol).

Re: Running Advice?

Yup. Candidate kept going to the outside and had quite a few big plays using his speed. Ricky Williams just kept breaking tackles and then breaking away.

hmm.. that doesnt sound like the real trung.. in reality he would get to the line of scrimmage and dance a little.. then dance some more.. hesitate a bit.. and then try and break tackles... but trung cant break tackles....
