Ok, so I've figured out what my problem with the commentary is, the gaps are because of the coordinator audio...so if I leave that on the game flows much better, still wish they'd get rid of it. Do you think next year, they can fill the gaps with banter? I hope so. The game isn't really that far off to me.

I agree. It seems if you use Gameflow coordinators call the right play or know what the computer is doing. Just take it off or add more commentary. they need to talk about matchups and current and past seasons.

I know you are not saying that is the only problem, and I agree it is liekly the biggest offender, there are a lot more problems than just this.

Listen to 2k Sports games, more so the NBA games now, and you will see and hear great presentation. ESPN 2k5 had amazing presentation, and last year when I got NBA2k10, I was blown away. Current Madden commentary isn't as good as it was on last generation.

If this is supposed to be "the year of the franchise" as we all have been lead to believe so far, I have to wonder when the year of presentation is comming. Honestly though, I can wait. For years I just turn the commentary off and turn up the on-field audio and crowd noise anyway. I "can't live without" franchise mode.

NBA 2K11 has good commentary, it's not great because they still repeat the same things in ever single match. Madden should set a basic goal of reaching that stage, and then go further.

I hope they replace Gus Johnson . Johnson is way to over the top phony.

Don't get your hopes up. It's been one season.

He's the guy the community... this site especially... was begging for. Over the top > Uninterested, imho. I'll take him, though I do agree, I hope he tones it down a bit.

I would think after 2k5, companies would have long ago realized voice actors are the way to go over professional commentators.

I vote Keifer Sutherland and David Hayter in the booth for Madden 12.

... two minutes to go, down by 4, on your own 9 yard line.
