Madden 2004 has lost some cool features. After being a diehard Madden fan for over 12 yrs, I'm totally pissed at this half-
butt game that they are so proud of.Although they have fixed
things that they should've fixed last year such as:swing passes to the backs,cut back ability when running.db ai and
ect..they spend too much time on the owners mode.I know some people love it and its cool for some but guys like myself, I only have time to pop it in and play a game maybe
for about 45min every other night.Over the past several years of playing Madden,my most enjoyable moments have been when
I play old school season mode.The thrill of seeing Sweetness
rushing stats vs Marshall Falk or Montana qb rating vs Garcia is a dream to me.I know some people may not like to use the Classic teams but I don't understand why they cut out features that built the game into what it is today.the ambulance was really cool back in the day.create a team is real cool but madden 99 for the pc would allow you to duplicate any team so you could create more classic teams.
Although the game play is tweaked more than last year,I will
still play 2003 because it has the coolest feature to me.
lastly, the training mode is ok but Madden 96 had a similar
setup even with the 40yd dash.Anyone remember the championship edition.(that was the bomb back in the day!!!)
They could create a championship edition with all the past champion teams with extra teams already with names and all the correct uniforms with all the old stadiums.They could allow classic teams to be used online or create championship
ranked play.Ea sports need to be aware because ESPN looks
awesome.Only time will tell
