Best Quarter Length for Superstar Mode

I have been playing Franchise a lot lately and use 13 mins with 25 run off, and just started a career with my created superstar so I was just wondering if anyone has any quarter length suggestions since the Supersim is broken. I'm trying to get realistic amount of plays (around 120). I think I'm going to try 9 mins with 25 run off and see how that works but if anyone has found the best length it would be nice to know!

I do 8 minutes with no time run off and am pretty happy with it.

I know if you do 9 minutes with 25 run off you will get less plays than what I do, so I would suggest you reconsider that. Maybe 9 with 15 could be alright.

Re: Best Quarter Length for Superstar Mode

I ran into the same problem.

I turned off accelerated clock all-together, and went with 8 or 9 mins quarters to get around 120 plays by the end of the game.

You have to turn off accelerated clock, since supersim doesnt take it into effect even if you do have it on. So it accelerates for you while your playing, but not the CPU when it supersims their plays. (creating a differential that shouldnt be there.)

If you want realistic stats, and realistic possesion time ratio for the CPU, just turn off accelerated clock. Use 8 or 9 mins Q's. At the end of the game coutn the plays and see if you're getting around 120.

(Count the total attempts by each QB, and total attempts by all RB's. This gives you the total offensive plays, count them at the end-game screen.)

Thats how I do it.
