A kitten dies every time someone repeats the fallacy that ESPN had anything to do with the actual production of SEGA's football game.

espn has added a gaming section to their site and have scores from both madden and espn and madden scores a 47/50 while espn scores 43/50, written reviews on the site apear to be user reviews but the actual score does state that it is "our score" for all you dissapointed madden fans, me not included, this compares to telling your wife that you like her friend better! I love it

Just because it is espn.com doesnt mean they have to like espn better... at least they're being honest. Kinda refreshing. I like Madden and I'll hopefully like ESPN. Just because you're a short sited freak doesnt mean you know anything about good football games.

gameday wouldnt rate higher than joe montana football

Whoa dude, don't even go there. Joe Montana Football for the PC was so far ahead of its time it's not even funny. Back in 1990 you could edit uniforms, playbooks, attributes, player names, team names, etc. It was incredible and played a pretty decent game of football. My brother and I lost count of the number of seasons we played through on that thing. It was an AWESOME game.

Does it really matter?

I prefer Madden of ESPN. No websites ranking will change that.

If someone prefers ESPN over Madden, I highly doubt a website would change that either.

What these people rank the games is moot.

Great attitude, since ESPN isn't even out yet. Pffft least most the people here gave madden a shot.

and besides, in that ESPN NFL Football review, it says that 2k3 didn't even look as good as Madden 2003. I don't think this is true.

A kitten dies everytime somebody states the obvious. If ESPN were capable of producing games they wouldn't have come to Sega to help launch their new brand of videogames.
