Resigning Peyton Manning

After season 1 in my Colts franchise Peyton Manning need a new contract. The thing is, he his 34 years old. So how long contract should i give him? 2 years? 3 years? What would be the smartest thing to do?
And when has he chosen to retire in your franchises?

4 years if its manageable. If not 5-7 with years 5-7 as an option for cap reason. If its cheaper to cut him than pay him if his OVR drops down.

Lol at this thread. Give him a 3 year deal and see where he is in a couple seasons. Ship him out if he gets worse. I'm sure you can find away to trade for yourself.

6-7 year deal. Big Money. Sign him "for life." Let him retire on his terms, when he is ready. Don't force the issue with a contract. Heck, even think about getting the "one more year" feature.

Re: Resigning Peyton Manning

1 year deals every season after he turns 30.

if you manipulate the resigning period then this will save you alot of cap space ...

i manipulate the resigning process (moving guys to K/P, signing them for min, returning them to orig. pos) because i have to. half of the eagles contracts on this game are wrong.
