4th on Pass and #1 on the Run. Average points given up is like 16.5

Now that the computer runs like it should my defense is ranked high, as the Cowboys should be, but not extraordinarily so. I am 9th overall I believe and 4th in passing and 7th in rushing. In the past years I was almost always last in passing and 1st vs the rush. Its things like this that EA has fixed that not alot of people talk about but it really huge in making the game vastly better IMO

Have you tried adjusting the sliders? I've messed around with some Human defense sliders and this helps to prevent every game from becoming a shootout. If you already have messed with sliders, then I really don't know what you should do.

i play with the chargers also. put the db's in man on man coverage a lot but mix it up occasionally. i held oakland to 10 points offensively. they got a big play for one drive and a TO deep for the TD.
madden seems to require you to mix up your plays.

as far as boston dropping passes, that is a problem. he is too fast and too good to be covered one on one and drop as many as he is in the game. caldwell catches everything. i put boston in motion and he started getting open on more plays and dropping less.

You could edit Boston's catch rating up a few points if you really felt he was dropping too many.

Well put. If u take a look at how the NFL is, you have to mix up your plays to have success. If u don't, you will find yourself on the short end of the stick more often than not.

YOu're right. I have actually ha a couple of good defensive wins with my Eagles but you basically have to switch up coverage and formations all game which is kinda unrealistic. I have to playthe quarter defense half the game to stop any offense. I hardly use the 4-3 anymore. ...anyway the game is fun and I guess that's all that matter.....Still hoping ESPN gets it right but Im not holding my breath.
