Not to be a jerk, but I don't think you understand how a patch works.

They either have something like this already, or they do not.

While we haven't been 100% promised that madden 12 is "the year of the Franchise" it has been implied that they are putting a lot of work into the mode.

EA loves their telemetry data and from what Ian has said in his Pod Cats, Offline Franchise still gets a TON of play. I have a hard time imagining that it won't get some serious love this time around. That, and I trust Josh Looman and Donny more, the men that brought us Head Coach and last gen franchise mode.

Overhauling the roster should have an effect on team chemistry as well. NBA2k does a decent job of this. Trading everyone away brings down team cohesion, and with that the players aren't as effective until they've been together for some time.

No offense is taken and I appreciate the feedback.

Re: Making trades more thought provoking

I would love to see the trade market be re-done as part of the Franchise re-build. I've been saying for 2+ years now that Franchise should go to a calender progression instead of gameday to gameday (& stage to stage in the offseason). FIFA's got a good transfer thing going now where you first have to agree to compensation with the other team and then you move into a contract. That process can take anywhere between 3 days and 2 weeks.

Having the CPU offer trades as well would be so nice to see, so many more things but I'll leave it at that for today.
