Playoff Layoff?

Sup fellas,

Tis getting close to that time of year when people move on to other sports and other sports games. For some it's already started. For others it will still be a few weeks yet. But there are many that will retire Madden soon after the Super Bowl.

For the rest of us, it will be Madden for another 6-8 months before 12 drops.

Will you still be playing Madden in April?

Well, yes and no. I'll play sporadically when I need my NFL fix, but I've been dipping into other games and I have a game I've been waiting over a year for coming out in April, so it'll be a little tight of a fit for M11, but I'll still be following the development of M12 with a close eye.

Come March I usually end up playing one game till september.

the only two games i would give madden up for are call of duty(already beat it) or kingdom hearts(no ps3 version).....so ill be downloading the final roster update and restarting my franchise and playing madden 11 til the midnight of the madden 12 release....IM A FOOTBALL JUNKIE

Used to be a year round guy. My copy of Madden 11 hit a gamestop shelf about mid October this year tho.

I'll play a lot of Madden mixed with other games until March when this years MLB game comes out, then that will take Madden's place, Madden will go back to Gamestop until August when new Madden comes out, then MLB goes back to Gamestop. Thats pretty much my yearly rotation.

Although I do forsee a light winter of Madden next year as Skyrim is scheduled to come out shortly after it in November, and that is going to take up a LOT of my time.

It's funny----with all the football I've watched, I still have no desire to fire up M10 (I passed on 11).

Because there's no real strategy involved that have me on the edge of my seat. I can put my feet up, go thru the motions, and win 35-7 without trying with the Browns, offline.

Plus, some of the quirky animations and Tyree catches just get old.Not to mention the overall presentation is boring as he!!, and at times puts me to sleep...

Maybe I'm finally losing my zest for Madden, after 15+years. Maybe because I know I can go 13-3 with Cleveland and obtain superstar FA players for nothing....

Ahh well.
