the tackling is just awful + all the other synonyms for this word.

Unaware players breaking tackles when they cant even see the man, receivers making catches when someone tackles him instantly when it should have been a big hit. can i say anymore? those two alone piss me off.

my dad stopped playing madden with me since 09 came because of this crap and i kept winning lol.aww man, i miss those days we used to play nfl 2k4 when i was way young and i was terrible at the game. tables turned LOL.

With the way things are right now, I wouldn't expect any ground breaking changes. I don't think EA is going to change anything drastically until Madden 13, which is the final year of exclusivity. If the license isn't renewed, exclusively,it would behoove them (EA) to get a jump on the competition by putting out a quality game a year ahead of time.

A lot of people are sour at EA, but people have short memories. One stellar release and people will forget all about the last six years.

The thing that I dont understand about it is that they said the whole point of Pro Tak was to break in/out of animations. Well then why cant we break into a cpu's tackle? You would think we'd just be able to join in on and add to the animation. That is a big one that bothers the heck out of me.

Pro_Tak looks like people hugging each other not football. Physics is the way to go. Throw in NHL's system, it's not great but it's better than what we have now. It's simply a start that can be changed as needed over time.

Anyways, hopefully what roadman said is true. I think it's very possible they could have remade the tackling in the game this year.

When you look at what they did with run blocking in Madden 11 by ripping out all of the old code and completely rebuilding it, I'm hoping they do the same with the tackling.
