keeping franchises fresh

bout to start 32 team franchise and was wondering what you guys do to keep yours fresh. do you use fictional stories (maybe let peyton hit free agency) or maybe suspend players. just curious about anything you do. maybe share some stories that you are currently playing out. im using redskins as my team, as if they dont have enough problems. it happens to be my favorite team and i have to fix em up. but i might take he attention off of them by shaking a team or two up.

I'm doing a 32 team chise where I actually play all the games, draft, sign free agents etc. I find the fun and challenge in trying to think like these teams in real life. Who they'd over pay for, who they'd not be interested in because he's old and their still rebuilding etc. I've learned to take certain teams and really build for the future. I play every game as it sort of creates a story line for the season. I like seeing big matchups in the weeks to come becuase of games I'm playing now. Usually some team by luck or whatever overperforms.....I like watching the rookies and stuff like that.

go with storylines. Write a weekly newspaper style blog here on OS. Post videos like it's SportsCenter. That'll keep it fresh. Some work, but fresh.
