Any teams make the playoffs with a losing record?

I didn't see a topic on this yet, so I made it.

Ofcourse, Seattle made the playoffs with a 7-9 record this year, and, if I remember correctly, they were the first team to do that. So this comes to my question, in your Madden franchises, has a team made the playoffs with a losing record?

Last night, I was simming a season on Madden 07 on PS2. (Yes, I know it's outdated, but I still love it.) The Raiders made the playoffs as a wildcard with a 7-9 record. I don't know about others, but I see teams make the playoffs with a losing record a lot.

Any of you have this?

Worst I've seen in 8-8 and that was the Browns.

I kid you not, on Madden 08 (360) the Panthers went 6-10, won division, and advanced to the NFC Title game. I wish I still had the screenshot to prove it.

It was a few years in, so I guess either there were mass injuries or the stars had left for other cities.

6-10? Damn. What was the other NFC South's record? I wish I could see that.

This is going to rarely happen, since Seattle did it with everyone in the division being bad. So you would have to get this, or get lucky with a wild card.

IIRC, Saints/Falcons had 5-11, Bucs were 2-14 or some dismal record like that. I'm going off memory of years ago, so I may be wrong..it was pathetic though. heh.

Years ago on a Madden the Vikings went 6-10 and won the division on mine, they won their playoff game too only get absolutely slaughtered by me in the divisional round.

That's a weak division. It seems like a couple of years in, once every real player retires, a lot of teams become horrible. I might do a project on Madden NFL '11 where I'll aim each season, recording important stats, and see how teams go. I really need to do this, not sure if someone has or not.
