Can't continue Franchise

I am just finishing season 4 of my franchise (playoffs) and i went ahead and simulated ahead but not to save. But my season is ruined where I can't even continue. I control 3 teams and one of them (I moved) cannot re-sign a player, sign a rookie, or anyone else in the preseason. It says to release or trade players, but even if I do all of them, I'm over the cap. (Is it because I moved them that I have no money, besides some trades that are hurting me now.) I have tried more than once and it won't let me continue at all. Is there some secret to fixing this? I've tried several things.

I don't want to start over as I have spent a lot of time on my 3 teams getting players I like and I have named a lot of players as well that didn't make the draft.

You'll have to cut any players you can without a cap penalty...If you literally cannot do anything, I'm pretty sure you can sim ahead and it will give you the option to clear cap penalties.

I just hit this same wall last night in my 32 team franchise. Its year four or five in the preseason and the Seahawks have 205m cap penalties... The cap is like 214m. I released EVERY SINGLE PLAYER on the team, then did the change position exploit to get everyone back on the team with the lowest salary possible. I only got like eight or nine guys back on the team and now I can't sign anyone, and can't sim forward or even play the game because it says I don't have enough players at a position. I've had this problem before but the clear cap space option popped up to fix it but I can't get it to come up now. So basically the franchise I've been running for the past month is completely locked. Thanks EA for the screwed up contracts!!

I try to play realistically with the salary cap and such, but the contracts are so skewed and unrealistic that it makes it impossible to keep a halfway decent team and stay under cap especially if you're trying to keep a 32 team chise competitive. So from now on I'm just running with the cap off..

Even when I released every single player, I was over because of the Caps. So my season got ruined (the clear cap won't come up).

But I did load an older one from the season before and for some reason on it the Clear cap comes up. So I will use that season, but I lost a Lot of hard work I had done, but it's better than nothing.

My 3rd team, the other one I moved is over the cap and can't re-sign players or rookies after the season as well, but I don't think it will be to wear I can't continue, like my other team was.
