Ive played about 10 games and I don't see whats so great about playmaker. It already predetermines the player to change. Am I doing something wrong or is it really not good.

it's just not that good. The commercial hype it up WAY too much.

I love playmaker on both sides of the ball. I can't tell u how many times I've chaned my run direction before the play to get to the open spot in the defense. I've even changed my recievers route real quick to get him to fly. During the play on offense I don't use it much, if at all. I can't seem to find a time to direct blockers and I'm rarely rolling out of the pocket.

On D, I use it almost every play. I use it to cheat the run or pass, and sometimes before the play I switch my safety coverages...

I like playmaker.

I agree, playmaker is a wonderful addition. The only one I have trouble with is the running back directing blockers. I love it and this game.

playmaker is huge.

I use it all the time.

On offense I'm always switchin the direction dependin on where the linebackers line up. I love fooling the defense on weak/strong routes and then switchin up.

On Defense, I use it all the time to prevent the rush. My Jets are destroyin backs like Ricky Williams b/c I'm anticipating the run immediately. I also use it to change my secondary coverage.

I use it eveyr now and then to direct blocks, but I usually find myself to occupied with gettin by a defender that is free from a blocker. Only when I know I have a receiver, tight end or full back on my side of the ball will I direct a block. I also love how the defense tries to find a way to move around the block or set up players around the block. Nice.

Playmaker is huge. It changes everythin about this game.

You are missin a huge addition if you don't use it.

Playmaker is really good it would be nice if the blockers blocked the right people already but hey. By next month everybody will praise playmaker when they're use to it.

eh, not entirely true though. THe CPU can't anticipate what you are doin.

The game already makes good selection on who to block. Playmaker basically allows you to set up a new blockin assignment that best fits your plan.
