I wonder what would happen if we nitpicked m04 like m10

I'm just curious...seems like alot of people brush m04 issues under the rug and clown m10. M04 was so cheesy it was pathetic, m10 far surpassed m04 I'm terms of gameplay but I see alot of videos wit praise for m04.

Again I just wonder if graphics excluded would there be this same criticism, I would love to see a truth chasers video on m04 because truthfully I could rip that game to shreds, deeper franchise yes, very buttery gameplay.

explain cheesy? as far as i remember there was a functioning man coverage in M04. Not so much in M10. that's just one example

Remember that expectations have advanced 6 years.

But I think we'd have a better Madden 10/11 if we "nitpicked" 04. Maybe they would've hit this generation of systems with a more realistic game.

My question is, what would the game be like if all these suggestions & complaints weren't considered nitpicking?

my bad i was thinking M04 on last gen. M10 was the first game I played on current.

Pick6 was just as normal as a extra point, I don't kno wat u chalk that up to (pursuit, procedural aware, etc) idk but it wasn't perfect, I get it was better but good sliders in m10 was pretty close, I wonder if half the gameplay issues could be resolved if they played with their own sliders more

I know that doesn't fix ol/dl interaction or "consective hit tackles" but we all kno no game is perfect it just seems to me m04 issues are all different from m10s and we are only noticing what's different

Anyway, its very simple, Madden is nitpicked much more than any other game(by sports gaming site regulars especially) simply because of its Exclusivity.

People would still want and expect all the things the want now, but that extra level of rancor that people display when critiquing Madden wouldn't exist.

Madden 2004 was criticized a lot mainly for the deadly Rocket catch. Man my record was crazy back in the day lol.
