Instead, I have Alvin York on my team who's an amazing 71 OVR. LMAO

Apparently the CPU thought it was a good idea to trade away a 2-time Superbowl QB (1 time winner) for a 71 OVR QB.

Anyone else experience these weird off-season moves? And how do you prevent it? I was hoping I didn't have to deal with the offseason at all (too time-intensive), but now I guess I have to.

You answered your own question.

You prevent it by not simming the offseason.

Not the best solution, but it is what it is and it has been discussed before.
