Maybe something like what Fox and CBS does. They have their pregame shows throwing out to the commentators at the game. It could just be audio while franchise stats are shown. However I do like the helmets crashing at the transition of the game starting.

Or maybe some classic John Madden commentary throughout his career. Like the time he spent 10 minutes explaining the flight pattern of birds over Soldier field.

For gods sake please no more madden tips ever in franchise!!! I want to see lineups of the teams, injuries stats, a complete pregame package, the defs should look into nba 2k11 to get a clue doing presentation right!!
And I hope they change the background screen in franchise to something team specific, is it really to much to ask to have different backgrounds for every team for example the stadium or city skyline, its no big deal but I think it adds to the atmosphere.

I always liked in NBA Live how you could shoot around while the game was loading.

How about letting us kick field goals or something while the game loads? That'd be cool.
