John Madden himself has to much to do with the game right now. So EA changing the name of the game will not happen so long as John Madden is still doing business with EA upfront. It's a rumor and it will stay that way until EA says other wise.

Its the same as walmart employees. But a lot of the employees that work at gamestop from my experience usually are very well versed in certain genres. Unfortunately sports games usually isn't one of them.
