How will an NFL Lockout Effect Madden?

Presumably (I'm no lawyer, especially not about US labor law) the agreement is valid because it was signed before they decertified. Now, if by some unlikely scenario this goes on longer than the newly resigned deal, it might be a problem (well, more of a problem).

I could probably guess why it's still in effect, but I should not speculate because if I'm wrong I could be quoted as a representative of EA, so I'll stay away from the legal speculation, but all I know is we have the players rights this season. Phil and Ian have said this several times publicly.

I will say that the NFLPA certified, it did not dissolve.

ok good to hear though that it won't affect the game. Who knows, with the future looking like a bunch of court battles and the possibility of the NFL missing games, maybe Madden is the only NFL people can get next year.
