jersey #

has anyone else noticed that in franchise mode players on the same team share the same jersey # sometimes? FOR EXAMPLE if i sign a new guy they will have the same jersey # as another player on the team.

do they do this in real life or is it a gaming flaw?

Its very much a flaw, it doesn't happen in real life, and yes, it happens to me all the time.

Re: jersey #

I've never seen this. At least in my franchise, if I draft or sign a player with a number that's already taken on my team, that player gets a new number.

You can have duplicate numbers in college, but not the NFL.

Re: jersey #

If you go into create a player and set him as a Dolphin, you can't give him the number 6, but you can give him the number 5. BUT there is already someone on the team with number 5 and no one with number 6. it isn't until you finish creating the player can you then go back in and edit him to wear the number 6.

How do I know this "useless piece of information?" Last night my friend and I wanted to make LeBron James and see how big a 6'8" TE would look in the game. So... we figured we would make him #6 for Miami.
