They would be crazy to ignore THAT, of all the ideas to include?

Honestly, they can't even manage to get ONE high quality announcing team in the game, I'd rather they worked on that before including 32 even more half-assed ones (and honestly, bad as it may be, the announcers are still way behind a lot of other stuff I'd like to have included in the game)

It's been said before-----just follow 2k's lead and hire two generic guys, with banter and enthusiasm.

OR-----Michaels and Collinsworth, just like real life.

*sidenote* I've heard Gus on NCAA Basketball games, and he IS exciting. But Madden makes him sound like overkill at the wrong times. So maybe it's not the announcers, but the sound dept. itself that needs improvement...

This would be insane for EA's talents. They can't even properly edit out Collinsworth's Tom references, much less create a synergistic bond between their commentators. And don't get me started on the lack of past-game commentary (i.e. Tom Brady had a 4TD game last time they met).

As they say, baby needs to learn how to crawl before it can walk and eventually run.

If this was baseball or basketball, where the television product has a true "voice of the team", then I'd be all for this. The Show should really consider this. I'd pay extra for Brian Anderson and Bill Schroeder.

But when I watch football I get some announcers who'll be in Dallas or San Fransisco the next week. No true connection.

So.... they can just add a ****load of lines for Gus and Cris instead of doing this. That's what'd make me happy.
