I saw this deal on slickdeals. Their forum there turned into a discussion on the issues with Madden. I was very shocked to see people using a lot of the same points us OS'ers have been reiterating for a couple years now. Sim/gameplay discussions on a mainstream site.

why does it say the release date is decemeber 31st 2011? on the amazon site? and most places u can get $20 off anyways if u trade in the yrs before madden so u only pay $40 anyways if u do it that way.

Placeholder date. No one knows the exact date yet so that's just there to represent the fact it'll be out sometime in 2011.

well from all sites i've been to and asked when it will be released with the strike "LOCK OUT" etc going on everybody has stated it will be released in second week of august just like every yr and that wont change.
