Maybe people have different talents and abilities at the different levels? Not everyone is the same, right?

That's why there is a gazillion slider sets in the slider forum. Choices aren't a bad thing.

Obviously he likes the challenge but hates the BS that comes along with the default settings. All-pro or all-pro sliders presents no challenge for any decent players resulting in easy blowouts against the CPU and thats not fun. They way to go is all-madden sliders where you can cut out the BS yet get a challenge from the CPU instead of blowing them out every game on all-pro. There's no inbetween. Either your playing all-madden sliders with the custom sliders at 15-20(total category 75 or less) or all-pro sliders with the the custom sliders at 10-14(total category 76 or higher). The best way for this guy to go is all-madden sliders..

Yeah well then giving him the advice "just don't play on all-madden" maybe isn't the wisest thing in the book when playing on all-madden is the only way to make the game even remotely interesting for a lot of people.

He's asking why the AI makes plays and he doesn't.

I told him the AI is jacked up vs human. So, in other words, find some sliders that do work for him that still make it challenging for him.

I'm playing custom sliders between 15-20, so for me, that's between all-pro and all-madden. I've been doing that for years and came up with my own terminology. If other people call it something else, that's fine.

You can call it all you want, the thruth is there is no true "middle ground" between All-Pro and All-Madden. Either your user categories are 75 points or less each, then you're playing on an "All-Madden" base set, or they are higher, then you're playing on an "All-Pro" set.

We've tried it time and time again, even putting a single extra point in a single user category to put it at 76 will lead to instant HUGE changes in gameplay, you can immediately recognize the CPU takes a huge step backwards in all regards.

15-20 is all-madden custom sliders(Total category 75 or less). All-pro is 10-14(Total category 76 or higher) so if you have your set inbetween 15-20 your playing all-madden custom sliders.

Side note if you have one of the categories totaling at 76-77 the custom slider set will say 15 but its really all-pro. 75 is the max number you can use to keep the game at all-madden so if thats how you have your sliders your playing all-madden. Me and a bunch of guys thoroughly tested this theory. The kicking meter tells it all. It goes slow on all-pro play and goes fast on all-madden play.

Man, I've never played Madden on the current gen, and the sliders sound confusing as hell. No wonder people are having problems.
