Updated player ratings project
Since I don't have a Sharkport, I was wondering if some OSers could help with some player ratings. I'd like to update some player ratings around the league. I just don't think it's fair to only raise some of my players ratings (the Steelers).
A few for Pittsburgh I think could use some help:
Jay Riemersma TE -- He is a solid TE, more of a receiver than EA gave him credit for...Bump up his speed & agility a little and awareness also (specializes in finding holes in defense)
Verron Haynes FB -- First of all, they're going to use him mostly as a HB (should see a lot of time as 3rd down back). His speed should be higher and his catching up a little. Maybe break tackles slightly as this kid runs really hard.
Lee Mays WR -- He has solidified his spot as the 4th wide out and has very good speed and acceleration (I believe he was a sprinter in college). He is a 57 in the game and probably should be in the low 60s.
Ike Taylor CB -- He ran a 4.26 40 yd dash at the scouting combine. All the coaches say he is the fastest they have ever coached. So, as fast as 91 spd is, he should probably be in the mid 90s (in the default roster, there are a few players on the team faster than him).
As you can see, I'm trying to back up all of my changes with some sort of idealistic realism. If anyone else would like to contribute to my effort, feel free. Include info on your favorite team, or any other you know well. THanks for your time and help.
