To be clear I want this to be a player TENDENCY not a rating. I want EA to add player tendencies for every individual player.
Wondering why QBs who always roll out or scramble look like stone footed pocket QBs in every Madden game lately? Well, I was brainstorming scrambling logic. Basically whenever a d-lineman or blitzer is in a CLEAR PATH, no chance of anyone chipping him whatsoever, the QB with the scrambling tendency will move out and attempt to pass or get some yardage through running.
Here are some player examples
Todd Collins (Bad field vision) - was completely oblivious to his blindside last season and never scrambled so he was sacked often.
Peyton Manning (Great vision) - knows when his blindside is in trouble with his field vision and will throw it away out of bounds whenever it does break down
Jamarcus Russel (Terrible field vision) - He scrambled and whenever he did it wasn't pretty. He didn't pick up the pressure quickly and wasn't quick enough to avoid defenders.
Michael Vick (Decent/Good field vision) - I know last season he was more of a pocket QB than his former self but there still was times he scrambled/rushed whenever he picked up the pressure.
If you guys at EA do pick this up... please don't screw it up.
