Promote from Within or Hire New

With all this talk about Ian leaving. My question is would you rather have EA promote from within (ie. Josh Looman, if he is still there) or hire an outside person?

I'm going with outside option, but i wouldn't bet on it. I think the NCAA team will get split up to produce both games.

Prob someone from outside maybe someone who done football games before, plus don't forget they got the guy who was the lead for blitz and those other games

gotta say someone from the outside who knows football, has a good vision, and will make a significant change to the game. The inside guys have only steadied the ship.

I wouldn't be opposed to stealing someone from the NCAA team.

I agree with you on that one. Just steal one of the good ones from the good game department. But honestly it want matter wheather they hire from inside or outside the company. It's going to be all about the what the head guys will want in madden at the end of the day. Phil and the rest of the madden crew will have to go along with what the head guys will want in the game to draw new customers and more money. So I don't think it would really matter who they hired inside or outside the company at the end of the day. They would still have to do what they are told to do.
