Hmm I don't think this would matter much to me to get something like this. Since I only play madden and ncaa offline most of the time. I pay for internet services and xbox live and the games. Anything else is just plan to much for me. Sorry this is just not a good idea to be very honest. EA would have to come up with some good downloadables for me to even consider getting this service.

This whole thing is on us the consumer. If we collectively give EA the finger and refuse to purchase these types of things they'll eventually stop doing it. Sadly I think people will end up buying it which is only going to fuel the greed and encourage EA to push the envelope even further. This seems to get worse and worse every year.

This is just another EA Money Grab, just like Madden Ultimate Team. Start you off for little to nothing, then charge you up the wazoo once you're hooked. No thanks. I miss the days when a company would strive to give the consumer more for their money, now company's like EA have the goal of giving you less.

As usually it depends on whether or not consumers really want online subscriptions? If they deliver something that people think are worth a subscription, great, but if they turn, say, roster updates to be subscription-based content, I think it will backlash.

Regardless of what EA is doing with subscriptions I won't be getting them as 1) I have no need for the content that they are delivering and 2) I've spend too many dollars on Xbox Live and MS points already.
