Guys, i'm worried.

Madden 12 sounds like it's going to be the game that we've all been waiting for. I'm seriously looking forward to trying it out.

What worries me is the future of Madden. Madden 12 is Ian's Madden. Now that he has moved on, do you think that this surge forward will cease? Do you think that this 3 year plan will hinder this promising direction? Chime in.

I really don't think Madden 12 is Ian's baby...I think it is EA's, which may be why we saw his lack of enthusiasm in his videos, and his early departure. I am not worried in the least that he is gone, as it has become apparent that whoever is "in charge" is never REALLY in charge. The EA marketing team seem to drive the direction, as well as the "suits".

You're seeing drastic change this year because of losing sales mutiple years, period.

Personally, I don't care WHY they're making radical changes now, I only care that they apparently are!

I have a feeling this is all because of adembroski. You keep fighting the good fight for us, AJ.

EDIT: I'm talking about Madden 12 being good not because of Ian leaving, lol.

Re: Guys, i'm worried.

If Madden 12 happens to be very successful, we need to start a petition to bring back Ian and match whatever pay he is getting with the new job.

An example of what will happen... take the Roman Empire for example: Julius Caesar was the best and well known Emperor of Rome, after him the other Emperors were all flunks and Rome eventually would fall.

Lets learn something about our world history when having a successful Empire, what happens when you give the control to someone else.

Re: Guys, i'm worried.

Madden 12 is NOT Ian's Madden. Ian was the creative director, not the dictator and sole innovator. There are plenty of brilliant designers and developers who made key decisions for Madden 12 that are still onboard.

If the position of creative director were so imperative to the franchise, then they wouldn't have left it vacant right now.

Actually Caesar took the power and never gave it back, against the peoples will.
