speed burst button ps3

I can not figure this out. Auto burst off, but what ps3 button is the speed burst. It does not say in the book.

Please advice

R2 has and always will be the speed burst for the Madden games. I think it's the same way in the NCAA games as well.

A few things to correct... R2 has only been used as Sprint for the past 5 years (since Madden '06). Here's a brief history of the buttons in Madden:

Madden's "Oomph" button started out as the "C" button on Sega Genesis. As the series evolved through SNES, PS1, and PS2 "Oomph" became Sprint/Speed Burst and the location remained the same with respect to the Dive, Switch, SPRINT buttons (the only buttons on the GENESIS).

In Madden '06' in the first year of the exclusive NFL deal the Sprint button was moved on PS2/Xbox to the X/A position. On the new 360 the button was moved to the RT button. When the PS3 arrived, it duplicated the button configuration of the 360 NG systems that we see today...

If you're a fan of other sports games, it may help to think of the Sprint as "TURBO" instead of sprint.
