Pro Bowl helmets

I was looking at the IGN screenshots and I noticed they don't have individual team helmets for the Pro Bowl I assume. Nothing I really care about but I know a good majority of you do.

Is there any reason why they don't fix that?

It's always been a matter of resources. A lot goes into the helmets and when you go from rendering 2 different types to potentially 32 that's a pretty big performance hit that has to be compensated for elsewhere in the gameplay/presentation.

Also could be hardcoded in that way from way back when; I mean, if you look at the cutscenes of the fans, they're always wearing whatever jersey the home team's wearing. It could very well be coded in that Team A vs Team B loads up the selected outfits & there's literally no way to pull 16 team helmets on A & 16 on B.

I don't think that's the case, they've commented before that resources were always the issue. Supporting the loading of up to 32 sets of helmet assets would not be trivial over the existing 2 per game.

Would love to see it this gen but it would require something else being done to free up that overhead during the game so I'm not expecting to see it.

Not to sound like i'm attacking you or anything, but are you serious??? Having each player have a different helmet requires a lot of work from the cpu? (I'm being serious here, don't know) Thats insane. Something that simple really requires some process power, thats crazy
