Real Presentation?

Not sure if this has been touched on, however in that screenshot of gameflow, on the whiteboard behind the tv, the words: cross fades and CBS are bulleted out. What does this mean, [possibly nothing, however CBS real presentation which may mean FOX too in an NCAA Basketball style. ANy thoughts?

Probably just means that they are looking at channels like CBS for influence on the game's presentation/on screen graphics.

Madden 12 won't have presentation from a real network.

Re: Real Presentation?

I thought I remember reading EA brought in or visited CBS for a how-to on camera angles and technical directing.

To create their Madden broadcast, yes. It's not a CBS broadcast though (I know that's not what you said, just clarifying). They turned to CBS to learn how to make a more authentic broadcast from their angle (camera shots/cuts/fades/directing the action) and went to the company responsible for most sports broadcast graphics right now to help consult if not create the graphics that will be used for the 'Madden broadcast' like what we briefly see in the Presentation Sizzle trailer when Vick gets a play and runs to the huddle.

Re: Real Presentation?

In the thread about the picture it is confirmed through twitter that it is not a CBS broadcast and that it is an EA sports broadcast.

Re: Real Presentation?

Presentation power comes from the emotional connection you make with your audience. Visuals are a major stimulus to an emotional response and it is a mistake to underestimate their value. It’s hard to present a great presentation without something great to present. So first, create something everybody in the world wants, like a Mac, an iPod, or an iPhone, then give a presentation about it. A presentation is a performance. It’s your opportunity to get out front and dazzle an audience while you play the leading role.
