I think every few years EA should go back in time to choose a very popular athlete from the past, similar to what it did with Desmond Howard in NCAA. Having Bo on the cover would be awesome and it would also add a refreshing touch to the cover phenomena.

I like the idea, but I think they should make special covers with past players along with the normal cover of a current player.

Bo had a very short NFL career due to injury, and its doubtful that a large percentage of the younger audience for this game has any clue who he even is. If they are going to go way back like that for a cover athlete, it needs to be a Hall of Famer, like Walter Payton, or Joe Namith...someone who everyone knows.

I said no, if anything include a couple of classic players in the fan voting.

If they were to have classic players on the cover then they would need to incorporate classic teams, which would be great, but I highly doubt that will be happening.

I like Bo as a cover athlete but may be he is better suited for NCAA 13.

I'm all for the idea, but not for Bo Jackson. The dude was exciting, explosive, whatever, but the guy never ran for 1,000 yards, never scored more than six touchdowns in a season, and is the franchise's 13th all-time leading rusher (behind players like Harvey Williams, Hewritt Dixon, and Pete Banaszak).

Put someone like Marino, or Dick Lane, or Reggie White on the cover. The production just isn't there for Bo.
