What I meant by my previous post was, if I have to spend extra money on DLC to get what I believe are features that will potentially make playing Madden an enjoyable and immersive experience, then so be it. All I want right now is a reasonable NFL simulation video game and if paying for DLC features, that make Madden that game, for me, means EA keeps the exclusive license, so be it too.
I feel the same way. Complaining about another company is useless now lol its not happening any time soon. If i had to pay another 5-10 bucks for features that make my franchise complete so be it. It simply means ill be playing Madden12 for 10months for the price of $70. I cant complain about that to be honest. Especially when I buy Map packs for COD for a lot more

No. This is my only problem with EA, them gouging money off of us...just look at Tiger Woods 12. I paid $60 don't want to pay anything more. Its too much money when you only play the game for 11 months.

If online franchise had everything that offline franchise had plus, they added web access so that you can view your league, sign free agents, initiate trades, scout players, etc. Then yes, I'd gladly pay for it.

This is not anything new and certainly isn't a EA only thing. Do you play other games? Everyone is pretty much doing this. Especially, with sports games.

thats basically what im saying with COD ppl play about 10 bucks per map pack. They already released 2-3 packs and ppl buy them without hesitation.

Exactly, people can bitch about it until they're blue in the face, they can boycott games, etc. However, it's the norm now days so as they say "you can like it or you can lump it". Look it up youngsters.

EA seems to nickel and dime much more of their game. I couldn't even tell you if NBA2k offered dlc products. I never noticed a store, franchise boosts, online pass or NBA ultimate mode. Does the Show offer this stuff? I don't play baseball games, but I'm curious how much dlc is pushed in front of gamers in that series.

The "it's only a couple of bucks" and the "every company is doing this" crowd pretty much guarantees this is the direction companies will go.
