PastaPadre is reporting that NCAA will have some additional features for their online dynasty that will cost about 3 dollars each. These include: the ability to advance the week from the web and the ability to supersim on the web (seems liek a cool way to past the time at work). I personally would pay for the additional $6 for these two features. So lets say Madden had additional features like salary cap and free agency as features that had to be paid extra for. Would you?

What other features would you be willing to pay a lil extra for in terms of franchise?

I'm already paying 60 for the game, paying more for features seems like paying for a spoon after you've already bought soup. If they offered the game for less with the option to spend more on features then I would consider buying them.

So I guess my answer is no, I would not pay for extra features.

If they did this for basic franchise features in Madden I would likely be outraged and might not buy the game purely out a protest.

However, if the features they were making us pay for were something that could genuinely be costing them extra money - such as linking our franchise to an online account, so we could manage rosters and such online, I would probably be okay with it. The extra pay features would have to be REALLY good though.

thats a great analogy with the soup and spoon. I do remember reading from Ian that running the OF websites and servers take up a lot of resources. So lets say for offline franchise they allowed you to link your franchise to a website that had everything there for you. we would be able to scout and play games from the website for your offline franchise. Id pay 3 bucks for that easy.

Depends on what is offered and if it's something that I feel should be part of the game... and of course the price.

I easily get the most bang for my buck by purchasing Madden and NCAA each year, a little more would not change that if it was within reason.
