Warren Moon

Never gets mentioned among the most prolific quarterbacks in NFL history, but if he hadn't been forced to spend 6 professional seasons in the Canadian Football League because of an insidious mindset, Harold Warren Moon, would own every passing mark in the game. As it is, his 17 NFL seasons puts him 5th all-time in passing yards, 6th in touchdowns, and 5th in completions. Although, later in his career, he turned into something of a journeyman with stints in Kansas City, Minnesota, and Seattle, I'll always remember him as an Oiler around the time I first started paying attention to football with the wide-open run-and-shoot taking full advantage of his unique passing skills. I'll remember him sitting at 527 yards (2nd single game all-time), and taking himself out of the game with the final verdict decided rather and stay in to break Van Brocklin's all-time mark, because he didn't want to cheapen the achievement. And most of all, I'll remember him throwing the prettiest ball in the game. 3-Time All-Pro, NFL Man of the Year, Offensive Player of the Year, Hall of Fame Class of 2006.

Jim Otto

The American Football League lasted ten years before it was folded into the National Football League. In that time, the Oakland Raiders played 140 games. They had only one center over that period, Jim Otto. He was one of the most decorated offensive linemen in pro football history and one of the two greatest centers of all time; smart, rangy, and a technician when it came to blocking. He was the AFL's only all-league center. Competed in 308 consecutive games. In short, his career embodied the commitment to excellence that is the motto of the silver & black. Named to the AFL's All-Time Team. Hall of Fame Class of 1980.
