You get the top guys drafted being rated in the high 70s or low 80s just like the real rookies(Palmer, Newman, Rogers) are when you look at the regular rosters.You actually have to do your homework scouting and getting info on different guys to try to find a gem. Using these classes is just fine with me.

I'm also a big fan of the draft classes, I like how you can find a real good player in the third round, his stats are first-round material but his injury rating is so bad he goes in the third (fred taylor clone) its definately a plus

Same with me. I always use the Madden generated classes. I haven't finished my first season yet, but I am pretty close, and the one thing I am looking forward to the most is the draft.

It's not about the ratings guys, it's about keeping the game as realistic as we can.

madden generated overall player ratings are pretty good. but i still hate the generated draft. they give you wide recievers with 95 speed and 70 acceleration. name one wide reciever in the nfl today that's this fast, but that slow to jump off the line. all other positions have weird ratings too, they seem to be pretty random, and not calculated. one instance, i drafted a 5'9 180 rb with like a 80 break tackle. i guy that small should be cracked when tackled.

I drafted a DE with 88 speed but like 50 acc and agi. That doesnt really make sense. Also i have an awesome WR but he has a stamina of 23. It doesnt fit into how it should be,

Theres also like 4 "next" mike vicks but they all have 94 speed with horrible acc and agility. Its hard putting your future into guys like that.

The number 1 pick one year ran a 4.38 and had amazing arm strength I thought he was a Vick clone his shuttle and cone was just ok he had 97 arm 94 speed but 44 agi and 51 accel,
Sorry that's just not very realistic. I think there's a few guys that diserve like 65 for speed and 90 for accel like Warren Sapp but not the otherway around.

IMO, that is what makes the game good and the randomness of the draft great cuz this guy could suck when he steps onto the field. It's just scouting notes, not actual game footage so what's the problem?
