Miami vs SD, tied 17-17 after 3...
4TH QUARTER
After a Charger punt and a good return to the SD 33, Ricky fumbled on a run and San Diego recovered. After numerous punts, Fiedler hit Thompson on 3rd and 16 and he had te first, but fumbled the wet football away to the Chargers. San Diego was forced to punt with a minute and change left. Miami was driving, but a Fiedler pass over the middle was intercepted at the SD 34. SD was able to drive, but Parker dropped a key 3rd down pass at the Miami 30 that would have given the Chargers FG range and a 1st down. Miami got the ball with 6 seconds left and a defensive pass interference call put them on their own 40 with one play left, but a hail mary completion only got them to the San Diego 20. (Tied 17-17)
OVERTIME
The Chargers got the ball first, and had 3rd and 2 but Tomlinson couldn't move the sticks. His stats show nothing much, as his good runs were called back on some of San Diego's 17 penalties. After Bennett's 11th punt the Dolphins made their way downfield. Chambers and Gadsden caught key passes and penalties allowed Miami to get to the SD 15. Looking to get to the middle of the field, Miami handed off to Williams who cut back toward the middle and HE HAS ROOM TO RUN!!! 10, 5, HE'S GONNA...WAIT- HE LOSES THE FOOTBALL- STRIPPED!!! AT THE 2, its rolling around, CHARGER BALL!!!! A terrible break for Miami. San Diego's O, however, couldn't use the momentum, and had to punt. Miami had excellent field position, at the Charger 49, with over 3 minutes to go. Fiedler drops back on second down, noone open, he's sacked, fumbles! Picked up by Marcellus Wiley, no one in front of him, he's gonna win the game!!! Touchdown Chargers!!! 34 yards!!!
