Re: Video - Donny Moore discusses dymanic ratings

All I got to say is...

Player's on-field performance plays a role and this trait/rating isn't fixed and has some variance!!!

I've been waiting for anything dealing with on-field performance factoring into each player's performance since Next Gen was introduced.

I'll take it with all joy and will find a way to see the positives of this injection.

It's really not complaining just to complain.

There is a very common belief and debate, and it was posted above, that "clutch" isn't as clutch as people think.

I DO think it pertains much more to baseball than it does to football but does it really hurt for people to discuss it in a mature manner?

For the record, I like having it in Madden, but I've seen many more posts in this forum that warrant the response you gave than this one does...

Joe Montana...probably one of the most clutch players the NFL has ever seen.

Some people in sports are clutch in the playoffs or when the game is on the line. To me it is long over due for football games to have a clutch rating.
Every player you mentioned was good throughout their respective regular seasons as well.

They made plays they have routinely made throughout the season in big situations giving them more notoriety, this is why some deem the term clutch to be more of an argument of semantics.

Don't tell me there's no such thing as clutch.
Sorry but I disagree with this, unfortunately, living here I watch more Steeler games than I would like to and he pretty much plays the same way in week 1 as he does in the playoffs.

He's always able to get out of weird situations and it just seems to stand out more in the playoffs.

Don't take this disagreement with you though as me disliking the feature because I do. What some view as clutch, others view as consistency.

So in Franchise mode can players lose their "clutch" tag? Say Tom Brady had a string of games where he came up small when the game was on the line...will "clutch" always be there or is it actually dynamic?

Re: Video - Donny Moore discusses dymanic ratings

An important question is, is there a global Turn Clutch On/Off setting in the menus/sliders???.....

2k is fantastic with slider options in their games, and its a big reason why people love their franchise/offline modes....

I hope EA remembered to make these things highly customizable.....
The more tools for users to craft the game to how they want to enjoy it best....the better
