Hardly, the Panthers have so much talent on offense they just need a legit QB. In Madden at least Cam will be a beast. David Gettis is extremely underrated both in the game and in real life. Armanti was deadly in the slot for me last year and I expect Pilares to be the same for me this year. Shockey will add a dimension to the offense that Carolina hasn't had since the Wesley Walls era. The defense is solid people just don't know it because being on the field 90% of the time tired them out resulting in big plays. They have arguably the best LB corps in the NFL in Beason, Anderson, Connor and Davis. If they can get a disruptive defensive tackle Charles Johnson and Greg Hardy will be able to terrorize QBS. As far as Madden is concerned Carolina is nowhere near "pretty bad shape" as far as reality is concerned it comes down to Newton's development and adjustment to the NFL game....
