Madden 12 Wii Preview(For those who care)

I'm no genius on these matters but for the life of me I couldn't figure out why they made the wii version look so crappy???? the gamecube version of madden looked just like the ps2. I had a wii (daughter's) and would have played madden on it instead of buying a ps3 except it looked so bad.

The "pre-game, halftime, and post-game shows" sound neat. Dunno why the Xbox and PS3 version didn't get those?

I've played Madden 11 on wii. Wasn't bad, but the controls felt sloppy. Maybe the new control set-up will fix that.

I will probably buy the Wii version of 12 over the PS3 version. I still prefer the older engine, and I don't really care that much about online, although I'll probably do some "Play Now" games every once in a while. The presentation enhancements, including the new in-game shows, sound appealing (although I wish we got some video previews of them). And speaking of controls, another thing I'm happy about is that "drumming" to break a tackle is gone. That made the running game too easy because of how the defenders would wait for the tackle to disengage, then usually fall down if they made contact with the runner before he took off. Looking forward to Tuesday.
