3D grass in maddn 09

I remember Ian Cummings saying that they worked on the grass since it does account for 75% of the screen , but I dont recall him ever saying 3D grass.

Their version of 3d grass back then may have been referring to the texture, that it didn't just look like a green carpet....I'm just guessing.

The best looking grass in Madden, was Madden 06 IMO. The best looking grass in a football game was Backbreaker(at any zoom level)



Madden 12 doesnt have 3d grass. It has 3d grass in replays. Its the exact same grass during gameplay as it always has been. Hopefully with better shading though.

Just played the NCAA demo a few times. I sure hope Maddens 3d grass and old grass integrates better then NCAA. It looked very bad IMO. Either give us all 3d grass or just get rid of it, cause it looks really odd. NCAA had some very blotchy looking grass.

NCAA grass looked fine to me. Of course, I was too busy playing football to notice. (low blow, I know, I keed).

I have to ask a serious question, and I mean nothing by it. If graphics dont matter to you at all, why not play 2k5 or Madden05? Do you feel Madden 11 had better gameplay then the older titles?-Thx
