Re: Changing packages... A huge part of the NFL... A huge part of Madden 12???

We need formation subs outside the in game menus which are hard to execute fast enough before the cpu snaps and are also limited. I am finding with Denver there is no package where I can line up LB Von Miller as a RE in the nickel package with DE Dumervil at LE. And the formation subs won't let me do it either! I don't know what gives but I consider this feature partially broken and definitely not good enough. Just do it like NCAA 12 please.

you have 40 seconds every single time no matter what the call.
I know that this is an old post, but I want to point out that this is wrong. The accel clock runs off before you select your play. If it did run off after, it would be much better.

I do hope that EA looks at AI in-game personnel management in the future. For example, if I am playing against the Jets, the AI should at least consider having Darrelle Revis man-lock on my top receiver, particularly if I only have one significant outside threat. If I'm playing against the Cowboys, they should move Demarcus Ware around a bit - he plays on both sides of the formation during games. If I'm playing against a team with Reggie Bush, I should see him line up at receiver at points in the game.

It's undoubtedly a nightmare of a problem code-wise, but it's something I'd like to see happen.

you are wrong. accell clock runs off after you select your play. unless you are like me and take up most of the time selecting your play then it doesnt run off because you already used up all your time.
