BOth games are great, just leave it at that. Anyway, does anybody at OS have Madden? If not, I'll write a review for you!

I have both games and I am planning on returning ESPN. Its a great game, but I just can not get used to the gameplay and I am a die hard NCAA2004 player and would like to be aable to import my draft classes. But kudos to the makers of ESPN they did a great job on making improvements.

As an owner of both Madden 2004 and ESPN Football, I don't believe that Madden is King. Maybe King in sales but it is hard to dispute the massive amount of work that went into ESPN Football this year. If anything, ESPN Football deserves a pat on the back as they went all out in every way for both the PS2 and Xbox. Can you say the same about EA?

Madden vs. ESPN = Pepsi vs. Coke

In the end, it's all a matter of individual taste...

I have to agree with you on the running animations for ESPN. It just doesn't feel or look right. In fact it never has IMO. But with that being said I'm finding myself liking the game the more I play it. I still prefer Maddens gameplay control over ESPN's but I have to admit that ESPN overall (despite the funky running) plays more like NFL football.

Re: Madden is still king.

why does everyone keep sayin that nonsense about running style...maybe...just maybe espn wanted to do something different than madden's sprint to the 42 yard line type running...both running animations arent perfect...DEAL WITH IT
