To be honest, there's something about having named players, portraits, and the NFL teams that makes a difference for me. So even though M11 was merely decent, I ended up buying it (way later, for $30).

But I've preordered M12 this year, mostly due to:

1. Offline Franchise improvements

2. New tackling mechanic (which I like in NCAA12)

3. Presentation changes

Not so much different in NCAA and Madden, but college and professional football have different feels to me.

1. Franchise mode, player roles and DDP

2. Player models have finally been addressed and uniform detail (previous maddens they had linebackers the size of Brandon Marshal)

3. They finally shrunk the FOOTBALL!!!!

4. Consecutive hit tackles and just more animations in general

only reason im buying madden is team play

me and my friend play team play alot and fall in love with that mode
only thing i hate is them taking the camera out if they took this mode out about half my friends woudnt even buy it

everything else they added to offline franchise superstar madden ultrmate team i dont care about them modes

ill play online franchise still upset they didnt upgrade that mode

ddp sounds cool but really care less

thats how i feel and only reason im buying madden 12 is team play everything else they done added upgraded i dont care without team play i woudnt even waste money on this game

As long as Madden is made, I'll buy it. Online play has made me a lifetime fan of the series.

It remains the only reason I purchase a gaming system.

The few franchise upgrades; and the excitement of the NFL season. I went without the game last year, and missed it. Hopefully Madden can keep me interested more than just a few plays of the game this year.
