Waiting on Madden 12

I've decided to wait on this years madden, mainly because I've bought the last 7 blindly because I'm only 14 and I wasn't on these forums so I wasn't aware of all the problems the games had.

Also I wasn't aware how awesome last-gen was, particularly Madden NFL 2005.

My one question is: If I wait until maybe October, will the price drop below $40 on sites like eBay or Amazon? Because if it wont I'll just pre-order from Amazon and get it on release day..

How much does the price drop? Significantly?

Um for the first patch to be released...I have a feeling the games gonna be glitchy.

Plus, Operation sports, Pastapardre AND Kotaku have written articles stating that there's no reason to buy sports games day 1 anymore, so imma 'beat the man' as they say by waiting

You answered your own question. If you're that set on waiting, bite the bullet and see where the price is in October. If you think you can "survive" potential issues, get it while the deals are hot.
