When there is no competition, excuses will be made why the only product is "meh". Let's just hope when the next systems drop, the NFL license won't be exclusive to EA. Madden has had enough time to implement new systems and make a presentable realistic game, but chose to appeal to the masses and just give it a sparkly look while ignoring gameplay. In a few years, people will look back and laugh at these iterations of Madden.

Have you played NCAA? That's what every gang tackle is.

Ok, just a note, I have seen the impact collisions where 1 persons starts and another cleans up its nice. The problem I still have is that this is only 1 aspect of football. I really think Tiburon needs to understand that its not a either or situation.

Pile up happens, 4 make tackles happen, 2 man tackles happen, impact happens. Football in compartments (ugg I hate quoting that guy but he is right sometimes)

I never want to see that bowling pin animation where 3 or 4 people are falling over for no reason.

he's right. bowling pins are still in. and the "early build" stuff is old and tired. the DEMO is largely the completed version of the game. anyone who didnt learn that the last two years is refusing to admit the truth.

I've played NCAA a ton, honestly, I haven't seen many if at all. I know you have too, but if you think the bowling pins are as prevalent as years past, you are refusing to admit the truth.

EA improves the bowling pin tackles immensely this year and they still get crucified.

Waaaa? Thats not a consecutive hit that is two separate animations occurring right after another. Proof? The first guy in the tackle completely slides off when the second animation starts. The third guy just falls over and is not part of any animation what so ever.

This is basically just a very sped up version of what has always happened. 1 guy tackles 5 guys slide off to the ground.

A true consecutive hit would involve all 3 players simultaneously not 1 then 1 then 1.
