Except they are forced to if they want to play a licensed NFL game this year. That's where the "hate" comes from. You're allowed to love the game, others are allowed to hate it. Except for this site it seems, sometimes, which I think is sad considering how long I've visited this site and how popular it is.

The point of this thread is that if you don't understand the difference between "hate" and constructively discussing your problems with the game, you wont be missed once you are abruptly dismissed, whether you've been here 8 days or 8 years.

Understandable logic, though one may question the morality of it. Is there a need to mislead and/or misinform? I'm sure the amount of views increased, and if that is your only concern, then job well done. I was, however, disappointed. I hope others don't feel the same.

I didn't want to respond to this, but here it is...

Things like morality and being mislead or misinformed doesn't matter. The only problem I see with this thread title is that it could prevent some people from reading the rules (especially new members), giving them a free pass to violate them and pay the consequence of being banned with the expectation that they know the rules of the site.

Other than that...

The intention was clearly to lure people into the thread to read the rules, and for the most part, it worked (over 4,000 + views), so job well done indeed.

Now with regards to the rules, I have no problem with them as I mentioned earlier. I just don't like the use of permanent bans that are given regardless of the number of infractions a person has or their history as a credible poster.
