What Position Do You Control on Defense

I like to play safety as well as linebacker depending on the team I'm playing or the situation I'm in. Generally speaking, if I think I'm gonna need to guard against the deep ball or I'm in a safety blitz I play safety, other than that I'm at linebacker.

I play as a DT or DE only. Its fun to try to rip through the O-line and get a sack or tackle the RB for a loss. I don't have the patience or skill to play zone or man coverage with a LB or DB.

i like to use a linebacker because i can either try and rush the qb or help stuff the run or drop into coverage

Only position I'm not comfortable controlling is the corner.

I like S, that's what I do in Superstar, but get bored doing coverage all the time.

For me it really depends on the play, and who I have.

I like DE, on 4 man blitzes. On extra blitzes like CB/SS/LB blitz, I like using the extra man. MLB is always fun, being able to guess the gap.

So again, really it just depends on the play.

Strong Safety is the only position I ever play. Since I played the position in HS and love being able to help out the run and drop back for coverage the SS is the jack of all trades guy.

Since I usually play All-Madden I stay away from blitzing players because it's harder for a user to go up against a CPU O-line. I like to control the FS or the MLB if hey're playing a mid zone. Online im all about playing the blitzing player or DE. If it's third and long I'm controlling a mid zone player or sometimes rarely, a corner.
