Do people still really play on Normal speed?

I'm actually surprised at how many people prefer slow, granted I haven't tried it on the demo. I tried it on 11 once or twice and felt like the players were running in a swimming pool

Reminded me of when I used to turn the pitch speed down on baseball games in the past so I had plenty of time to wail on the ball.

To each his own tho I guess

Hahahaha! Yea I can actually deal with Normal even though I prefer it faster then that but slow and very slow has to be the worse. I couldn't imagine playing on that. If online play got changed to slow I wouldn't even play online anymore..

i agree with everyone who prefers the faster settings. it makes the game more challenging and is more realistic. the nfl is fast and you can't get that type of feel with the slower settings. i've tried them because everyone says that they are better, but playing with it makes me antsy. like bichettehappens said, it feels like they're in a swimming pool. to me it fells like its laggy. players are fast and the faster settings display this

Hasn't online been slow since they put the feature in?

I've only played on Normal and Slow. For me it's not that normal is too difficult or anything, it's just that the game plays so twitchy on it. On Slow you can see stuff develop and take advantage of them. I don't feel that way on normal.

Very Slow is definitely the way to go

I tested this last year in both practice and game modes and slow gave the most realistic 40 times. On normal I was getting a lot of 4.2's and 4.3's even with fullbacks and TE's. On slow I was getting mainly 4.4's with the same players but certain players with very high speed ratings like Devin Hester was in the 4.3 range. Conclusions were slow was definitely the way to go for the most realsitic results.
